CFO and CTO, Steven Timcke & Alfonso Ferrandez, join OIA to strengthen its leadership & management team
As part of our ongoing commitment to professionalising and strengthening our leadership team, we are delighted to introduce Steven Timcke, OIA’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Steven Timcke, with his extensive experience and proven track record in financial leadership, who has taken on the role of CFO at OIA last year. His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve as a company bringing more experienced leaders.
Steven brings over 25 years of experience building long-lasting and trusting relationships with owners and stakeholders as Financial Director and CFO. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing and engineering sectors and has served as a Portfolio Finance Director and seasoned CFO at The FD & CFO Centre in Oxford. Steven's wealth of experience and his proven track record in financial leadership will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve as a company.
We are also thrilled to introduce Dr. Alfonso Ferrandez as our new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Alfonso holds a Ph.D. in Computational BioFluid Dynamics from Leeds and has over 25 years of experience in highly technical and strategic positions. His impressive career includes designing and building one of the largest IoT networks in the UK as CTO of OVO Energy and its Kaluza division and designing and building the entire patient triaging platform as a medical device Class IIa/IIb of DoctorLink, which he took from 10k users to 15 million when it was sold. Alfonso's expertise in medical device integration, advanced computer vision, and data fusion algorithms will be instrumental in driving our technological innovation.
Alfonso’s Ph.D. work, supported by the NHS, led to an algorithm used by NASA today to vet astronauts’ health. We are excited to have both Steven and Alfonso on board and look forward to the invaluable contributions they will make to our team.
